Mr_Robin_Hood opened the thread that created The Banhammer on 8 June 2016, the first of two anti-HackForums alliances posted that month.^[1] His opening post gives the earliest hard territory count on record for HackForums — "its that Hax currently owns 94 territories" — and the proposal it justified: "the only way for us to be able to beat them / is if all of the guilds unite!... we create one big alliance / where none of the guilds in the alliance attack eachother so that / even weaker guilds can hold territories."^[2]

He ran the alliance from a forum conversation, asking guild owners to message him directly^[2], renamed the thread on the evening it was posted^[3], and spent most of his subsequent posts defending it against the charge that it was a hate thread. "It was never intended to hate on HAX i know they are a hard working and honourfull guild," he wrote on 9 June. "its just that i think the smaller guilds could really benifit from an alliance because of how strong hax is right now."^[4] Asked why he singled out one guild, he answered with a comparison of holdings: "a bunch of guilds that have a lot of territories...... like who? TTZ with about 12% of what hax has? or WTh with a nice 3%?"^[5] His last recorded post, thanking a poster who had spoken up for the alliance, reads: "I was about to give up on this whole thing and you really saved my day."^[6]

His guild membership was never recorded, and nothing else about him is known.
