Saya added that a while ago and I guess it just stuck, I guess that's before other was a thing so I'll do that too to cut down on the number of items on the list. It's hard to express sincerity in text but I really appreciate the feedback, thanks!

The reason why it's only US and EU is because those are the two main IP's to connect to, I figure that since war servers are being removed, it'll probably become a much more important to be in a guild who connects to your regions server, especially to people with slower internet.

some guilds are overwhelmingly 1-2 timezones though, and those might be interested in standing out with that.

I really did consider that, but there are a lot of guilds under 30 who are looking for people and I think it's only fair to give them a chance to get new members too. I also like that if you're interested in joining a guild at ground level you can and lower guilds stick to the bottom anyways so I don't think it's too big of a deal honestly. If it does become an issue with a lot of low level inactive guilds I'll make sure to do something about it!

To be honest, lvl 30 can be reached with little effort by 3-4 people even with 1.19 standards, if the bar is that low to get to a level like that is it even worth to include guilds who can't be bothered to do that? Thats my thought process on it.

Maybe some other idea: to add more specificity to some of the traits for guilds like their war preference. Some guilds tend to promote themselves as a "light-war guild", and then there's others who are dedicated well beyond most guilds who also consider themselves a warguild.

Basically it causes some inconsistencies if guilds themselves have free reign to decide what to identify as every guild has different standards for things.

since it's your list and you're in fact free to do with you could possibly decide to create your own standards/tiers for it which should give a more objective view for people looking for a guild, kinda like you already did for determining sizes.

That's what the secondary category is for. If you're a light war guild, your main purpose isn't warring so your primary wouldn't be set to warring, it would generally be set to community. Only guilds serious about warring should be labeled as warring as their primary.

On the note of subjectivity, I agree it's a bit of an issue, but numbers are numbers, they're easy to sort and it's something I can just look up easily. Trying to enforce something subjective would be a nightmare since it would require me to actively watch how guilds operate and make a decision, which the guild then may or may not agree with. It also isn't really important in the first place since the goal of this spreadsheet is to reduce the advantage of constantly bumping recruiting threads which helps smaller guilds who get less attention and applications by giving them a place to be seen and helps bigger guilds by putting them at the top of a list, which I think is a fair tradeoff. Ultimately the goal is for every guild to manage their own entry and while that's never going to happen, allowing guilds to promote themselves is the entire point and it's up to them on how they want to go about doing that.
