● Guild Seasons
Starting with 1.20.3, holding and attacking territories will now grant your guild Season Rating (SR) points. Once a season ends (every 3 months or so), territories will reset and all guilds will gain various exclusive rewards based on...
- Their ranking on the SR leaderboard
- The number of territories they held when the season ended
Guilds will also gain rewards immediately upon reaching a certain SR threshold each season.
Here are some of the rewards you can expect:
- Guild capes for members of the guild
- Exclusive Season Banner (it's a different one each season!)
- Special badges
- Guild tomes
- Guild emeralds
- Guild XP boost
- A rad temporary crown hat cosmetic for members of whichever guild reaches #1 every season
- Guild Bank slots
SR generation increases as the season progress to give a chance for some to catch up.
We've made sure to spread the rewards so that not only the top competitive guilds get interesting rewards. Bank slots, cape cosmetic, badges and more can be rewarded by only holding one or a few territories for a relatively short time.
(sorry for the ugly cape, I hit the randomize button)
Once this is out, we'll have a first "Season 0" for a few days before starting the real seasons. This is to make sure current territory owners can get a few rewards. However, keep in mind there won't be a special guild banner for Season 0.
● Weekly Guild Objectives
Once your Guild reaches level 10, you'll unlock Weekly Guild Objectives ! Each member will get one weekly goal every Monday. Once completed, you will receive loot (with high built-in Loot Quality) and can gain even more if you maintain your streak!
Secondly, your guild will also gain rewards the more of its members complete their objectives: tomes, guild XP, emeralds and Banner Points, which allows you to change your banner design or increase the banner tier.
We've heard your feedback about community guilds feeling left out of the recent guild update and being unable to get any of the new rewards. This feature was done mostly with y'all in mind. We hope you like it!
(fun fact: I got my first ever legit Mythic from testing these objectives)
● Other Guild Changes
- Added a new Guild Banner NPC for housing
- Added a new system: Treasury. The longer a guild controls a territory, the more resources that territory will generate. However, capturing that territory will also yield instant bonus resources to the attackers. (also to note: the defender bonus is reduced the further away a territory is from your HQ)
- The Guild Hall will now show a leaderboard of the top guilds and the current season banner + rewards
- The maximum tax rate is now 40% instead of 80%
- The minimum tax rate is now 5% instead of 1%
- Pity cost will now only increase if the guild losing the territory has owned that specific territory for at least 1h
- Added a confirm button to set HQ
- Tributes from allies will now appear in the guild outputs/inputs section
- Whoever is aggro-ed by the Guild Tower during a war will have their name bolded on the scoreboard
- Fixed a few Trade Routes that didn't make sense (like the ones skipping over territories)
- Storage upgrades have been adjusted to be less effective for the price. To make up for it, HQs now get a flat storage bonus as well
- Changed some territories resources and connections to improve certain area's defensive capabilities. Notably Corkus and the Jungle.
- Updated the Guild Banner menu. You will now be able to upgrade your banner and change its design.
- Banners will now show guild badges
- The maximum war team size is now 5 instead of 6
- Updated the territory difficulty estimation to include special bonuses such as Aura or Volley
- HQ bonuses will now scale up the more territories you control
- Fixed a bug where Aura particles could sometimes be hidden by the tower
- Arrow Shield will now deal lowered damage to the Guild Tower
- Added Territory Loadouts, which allows you to save pre-made territory bonuses/settings so that you can quickly update your existing territories with them
[image: [IMG]]
● Crowd Control Immunity Rework
With 1.20 we've added some new crowd control immunity ability to some bosses (shorten to CCI). Mobs with this ability couldn't be blinded, slowed or even knockback.
We're now separating CCI into 3 parts:
- Knockback Immunity
- Blindness Immunity
- Slowness Immunity
Mobs with these will have these icons showing up on their boss bar indicating which immunity they have.
These new immunities are not permanent. Mobs with them will still be able to get CC-ed from your attacks, but once they get CC-ed they will then be immune to that specific CC for a few seconds. You will be able to tell when a mob can get CC-ed by the colour of the icon.
● Item Changes
- New Major ID: Fission
- Added various new items
- Strength and Dexterity will now affect the overall damage output instead of only affecting base damage.
.SpoilerTarget"> Spoiler: More info
This means they'll both be much more effective overall. To prevent game-breaking damage, most late-game items have had their base stats nerfed down slightly. The overall damage output shouldn't be overly different for some build-type, but still, your feedback during the beta is greatly appreciated.
Contrary to last time we made this change, critical hits will not be affected by your strength as much.
- Rebalanced various items (read more about this on the IM thread )
- New Guild tomes
- The "Explosive Impact" Major ID will now only trigger when attacking with your main attack
- The "Flashfreeze" Major ID will now freeze and slow down mobs by an additional +1 second
● Other Changes
- Fixed a broken texture issue in 1.17
- Fixed a visual issue with some weapon models when holding them with your left hand
- Added text emojis such as the new CCI icons, emeralds, and a pride flag
- Fixed a bug in Infested Pit dungeon with token collectors
- Fixed a bug with a Time Valley boss
- Updated the damage of certain Raid Boss attacks to be fairer (mostly by reducing the amount of true damage)
- Fixed a bug where the Forgery Chest timer would continuously spam the chat
- Added safeguards against a Canyon Colossus boss bug where the intro could sometimes trap players
- Fixed a bug where players in streamer mode could still receive PMs from other players
- Improved the side scoreboard stability, it should now flicker less often
- /ignore will not hide players with Hunted enabled anymore
- Improved the visual stability of armour stand mobs
The patch is live on HERO beta right now ! Help us test it out at beta.wynncraft.com if you have a HERO rank or higher.
This will be somewhat of a shorter beta this time, and the test seasons we'll be running on there are going to be heavily sped up. The rate of rewards and their durations will not necessarily be similar to what they'll be once the update is out on the main servers.
See y'all next time for another update! Make sure to report bugs on the beta bug report section!
