KingdomPhoenixes [Phx] was a Wynncraft guild established on 23 September 2017 by AurumKitsune. Formed by members leaving the Kingdom of Foxes, it co-founded the Coalition with its parent guild a month later and went on to the Federation.
"Queen AurumKitsune" was its owner, with "Princess Whimsy" and "Prince Thundderr" as chiefs[1]. "The Kingdom of Phoenixes was created by Aurum, and she ruled it as Queen. The second in command was Whimsy," Drew1011 wrote.[2]
Origins
The thread's opening line, as last edited in October 2018, reads "Started by few descendants of another kingdom"[3]. Drew1011 quoted the same sentence in a different form — "Started from a few descendants of crumbling Kingdom..." — and wrote that the word "crumbling" was what began the feud between the two guilds[4]. The opening post was edited more than a year after it was written; which wording stood in September 2017 is not known.
Drew1011, then Fox's Viceroy, identified the "kingdom" as Kingdom Foxes and attributed the split to Fox's decision to rejoin the Emperium of Wynn — "It caused a significant amount of members to join and form their own guild, KingdomPhoenixes [Phx]"[5] — and wrote that the new guild copied Fox's structure[6].
An internal challenge came "after about a month": "the government officials decided that they wanted to try to take over the monarch... those that tried to start the coup got demoted"[1]. Drew1011 described a different-looking episode in early October 2017, in which AurumKitsune handed the guild to ElegantDeath and briefly rejoined Kingdom Foxes before taking it back[7]. Whether these were the same event is not known.
War Syndicate and the Coalition
KingdomPhoenixes joined War Syndicate and left it over the leadership episode above[8]. Weeks later, in mid-October 2017, the guild co-founded the Coalition with Kingdom Foxes; Gilded Sparrows joined third and House of Sentinels fourth[9][10].
Discord message from the KingdomPhoenixes parliament channel, author "King ElegantDeath": "Now I know you all hate Fox, but they are the enemy of our somewhat enemy, Tnt / I'm somewhat thinking about a temporary alliance with them purely for the sake of elimination of BCr".
The guild held mainland territory when the Coalition took the whole Wynn province on 23 November 2017, and was on the alliance's roster at the declaration of war on 21 December 2017[11]. It briefly left and rejoined the alliance in early February 2018[12], and the division of Wynn announced on 16 February 2018 assigned it "Mid canyon"[13], 24 territories[14].
KingdomPhoenixes was a member of the Federation through that alliance's collapse in November 2018, when Drew1011 credited AurumKitsune with "setting up the discord and coming up with things such as the 2/3 majority voting rule"[15].
