Sg_Voltage created Wynncraft forums thread 278112, "Read Before Applying To A Guild - All Currently Recruiting Guilds Megalist", on 29 November 2020, and maintained it for the next two years^[1]. The opening post set out the purpose: "I've assembled a list of every* guild which is currently recruiting along with some important stats... My goal is to be able to make sure every guild gets the chance to shine and every player can get the chance to find the guild that's right for them."^[2]

The list lived in a Google Sheet edited by the guilds themselves — "send me a message with your Gmail and I'll give you editing permission" — which is why its rosters were lost when the sheet went down^[3]. Forum administrator colin350 pinned the thread on 17 January 2021 after Sg_Voltage committed to weekly updates^[4].

One column of that sheet recorded alliances, and it became the era's register of record: nearly every dated alliance roster of 2020–22 traces to a post asking Sg_Voltage to update it. On 7 July 2022 he ended it, replying to a correction with "For alliance information, it's supposed to be updated by the guilds themselves... I don't care to follow guild drama", then: "You know what, on second thought I'm just going to delete that section. If it's not updated regularly it's not really useful anyways."^[5] No public alliance roster has been published since.

No guild is recorded for Sg_Voltage. In July 2021 his forum profile showed a CHAMPION rank, the custom title "1.18 was the best update, don't @me", and no guild field at all^[6] — fitting for the community's neutral registrar, though whether the omission was deliberate is unknown.
