Volume 1's closing remarks describe the work as an inheritance rather than a founding - 'I was really unsure about taking over the Times on my own, and spent a lot of days putting it off because I didn't want to fall short of anyone's expectations'^[3] - though what preceded volume 1, if anything, is not recorded.

Volume 7 (16 December 2022) expanded the newsletter to a team of writers; Bee contributed the article 'Events: A Deeper Dive on Their Impacts', built on a member survey about in-game and guild-hosted events, and the volume closed 'Thank you Snazz, Geb, and Bee for writing this volume!'^[4]. The same volume lists bitesizedbee4 among members promoted to Sorcerer, noted as 'now Artificer'^[5]. She is still the narrating voice of the Ocean Trials explainer in volume 8 of 18 February 2023 - 'Hey Bee, what's Ocean Trials?'^[6] - after which the newsletter's bylines pass to other writers^[7].

Her volumes are the principal dated record of the alliance politics of 2022. Volume 1 places the formation of Cucumber Company at the start of guild Season 5^[8], and volume 6 records its archiving and rename to 'Smtn else' at the start of Season 8^[9] - see smtn elf.
