Kuroi, in game Kur0i, was a chief of Holders of LE from 2015 to at least 2018 — one of the longest recorded tenures in a single guild in the early guild era. A forum post of his documents the 2015 attempt to remove yosteric5 from the guild's leadership.

Kuroi appears from mid-2015 and was still among the guild's chiefs in May 2018[1] — the longest continuous tenure recorded for any member of that guild.

Kuroi recruited Drew1011 into the guild: the two met in late May 2015 while Drew1011 was seeking help with the Tower of Ascension, and Kuroi invited him to Holders of LE the same day[2]. Within about a week both were part of a group of members who met at the Troms throne room to discuss removing yosteric5, then the guild's acting leader, from that role[3].

Kuroi then put the request to Spham of Kangronomicon in a forum post — user title "Amateur Quantum Engineer", guild listed as HoL — which reads in part: "'We' being kategajda, @Drew1011, and a few other members, and all of us absolutely despise him … We're asking you to convince our guild leader, @SSEEBBYZ, to kick him out of the guild or demote him … We would have loved to ally ourselves with Kangronomicon, but yosteric pretty much... ruined that chance?"[4]

Spham agreed to act only in game, which did not happen; Drew1011 and Kuroi instead raised their grievances with yosteric5 directly and were both made "Head Chiefs", a rank giving them the run of the guild in his absence[5]. Kuroi also co-organised the 2015 skirmishes against Nether's Ascent that brought the guild to Kangronomicon's attention[6]. Nothing else about him is recorded.
