The war for the map, 7–19 Sep 2019: over 2,000 exchanges across 322 territories in ten days. The Simple Ones defected from Luna on 8 Sep and Terra took map control the same day; Kingdom Foxes left on the 18th and Luna collapsed.
Background
Luna had held the entire map since 17 Jul 2019, but the revolt of Emorians and Avicia on 29 Aug cracked it open, and on 30 Aug Terra formed in opposition[1] — a bloc of roughly a dozen guilds including TheNoLifes, Titans Valor, DiamondDeities, Fantasy and Paladins United. Terra's roster was never published[2].
Course of the war
The decisive fighting ran 7–19 Sep 2019[3]: over 2,000 exchanges across 322 territories in ten days, only about a third of it on the usual free-for-all hotspots — a map-wide war, not churn[4]. The turning point came within a day: on 8 Sep The Simple Ones defected from Luna to Terra, and Terra took control of the map that same day[5].
Luna fought on for another ten days until Kingdom Foxes left on 18 Sep, and the alliance collapsed[6].
Aftermath
Victory dissolved the victor almost as fast as the vanquished. On 15 Sep, mid-war, Terra's core founded the Council of Canyon Kingdoms[7]; Terra itself fell on 2 Nov 2019[8], seven weeks after taking the map.
