Fantasy left the dominant Federation in late May 2018 and fought the map-holding bloc alone all summer, exchanging over 220 territories before rejoining on 29 October 2018 — twelve days before the Federation's death.
Background
By the spring of 2018 The Federation held the entire map, having taken it at the end of the Coalition Civil War on 20 March 2018[1]. Fantasy entered the bloc that day with the other Alliance Alliance guilds, and five days later co-founded the Aesir Pact[2], the Federation's sister-guild pact "especially dedicated to Gavel."[3]
Course of the war
Fantasy's departure was never announced in writing; it appears to have come in the week of 28 May 2018, when Fantasy's fighting against Federation guilds rose from 44 territory exchanges in total through April to sustained war levels of 20–90 exchanges per week[4]. The lone guild then fought the map-holding bloc across the whole summer — over 220 territories were exchanged with the Federation before the war ended[5].
Fantasy was an Aesir Pact founder[3], yet no expulsion from the pact was ever recorded; the sister-guild pact evidently survived Fantasy's war on the very alliance that contained it.
Aftermath
Fantasy rejoined the Federation on 29 October 2018[6], twelve days before the alliance died by internal collapse on 10 November 2018[7].
