Federation-circle player remembered for a November 2018 forum post claiming he co-created Alliance Alliance - and thereby, indirectly, the Federation itself.
Slayne was a player of the Federation era. Drew1011's "Federation Tribute" credits him among the Federation's contributors for loyalty and straightforwardness[1].
Posting in the same thread under the forum title "Tenacious Snuggles", Slayne made the claim for which he is chiefly remembered: "In a way, you could say that I created Fed because I (along with some others) created Double AA. Take that drew! Owait. Im also drew. Damn it"[2].
"Double AA" is Alliance Alliance, whose split from the Coalition on 16 February 2018 triggered the merger of the Coalition remnant and War Syndicate that created the Federation[3] - so the post asserts a causal founder's role, jokingly aimed at Drew1011. It is the claim of an interested party: no one else ever named Alliance Alliance's creators, no one contradicted Slayne, and his own wording ("along with some others") leaves the rest of the founding circle unnamed.
