A complete snapshot of Wynncraft's guild map taken from the game's API on 3 September 2026: 437 territories held by 20 guilds, four of which held more than half the map between them. It is the most complete documented state of the map in an era when almost nothing else about guild politics was written down.
The census matters chiefly as documentation[1]. By 2026 no guild published an alliance roster, no newsletter named an enemy and no war carried a declaration[2], so a machine capture of who held what is the fullest single statement of guild politics available for the private-diplomacy era.

The map was concentrated: the four largest holders controlled 235 territories between them, 53.8 per cent of the map, and the top ten controlled 387, or 88.6 per cent[3].

The list spans the whole history of the game's guild warfare. Kingdom Foxes was created in July 2016 and Paladins United and Titans Valor in mid-2017, all three survivors of the early guild era still holding land a decade later. At the other end, New Moon was created in May 2025 and The Nameless Samurai in September 2023; nothing was ever written about either.
Three guilds with very large lifetime war counts held nothing at all: The Aquarium (170,247 wars)[14], Idiot Co (126,366)[15] and Profession Heaven[16]. All three had won or contended for seasons in 2023-24[17]; why they left the map was never recorded.
How little a snapshot is
The census carries an acquisition timestamp for every territory, and they show how provisional any map picture of this period is. No territory in the capture had been held for as long as a week: the longest-held had changed hands 144 hours earlier, the median holding was 11 hours old, 268 of the 437 had been taken within the previous day and 104 within the previous hour[18].
The drift is visible even inside a single archiving run. The per-guild records were fetched at 16:59 UTC and the census at 17:00 UTC, ninety-three seconds later, and in that gap Sequoia's holdings fall from 63 to 62 and Aequitas's rise from 21 to 22[19][20][21]. The census is a state of the map at one minute, not a settlement.
What the map does not show
It does not show who was allied with whom. No alliance roster was published after June 2022[22], and the in-game ally registrations that became machine-readable in June 2026 record a game-mechanical relationship used chiefly to permit allied guilds to run guild raids together - not political alignment, and no guide to the blocs behind the map[23][24]. Nor does it show causes: of the guilds in the table, Sequoia, Avicia and Aequitas fought wars in this period that no one described in writing[25], and for The Nameless Samurai, Kingdom Foxes, New Moon and the smaller holders no narrative of any kind was ever recorded.
