Its neutrality outlived both protectors and every successor alliance, ending only in May 2026 when KongoBoys began a sustained campaign against it.

History

Neutrality (2021)

Profession Heaven was created on 20 January 2021 by Crokee,[1] who ran it as chief, as a public profession-XP guild.[2] Five days later, on 25 January 2021, it was granted neutral status - protected by both Goose and Artemis, the two warring blocs of the day - and given territory in the Silent Expanse.[3] Its first territory exchange came the same day.[4] Who brokered the arrangement was never recorded.[3]

Crokee codified the guild's posture as internal law in its forum thread of 9 February 2021, whose rules include 'Keep the guild as neutral as possible towards all other guilds. No bias towards any guild.' The guild's stated goal was 'to be able to provide territory GXP boost to Dernic professions to any player who needs it', with open temporary membership for any player who wanted the boost.[2] The arrangement survived the Great Collapse of May 2021 and the successor blocs that followed.

Inside the super-alliances (2022-2023)

Profession Heaven was one of the fourteen guilds of Cucumber Company on the last public alliance roster ever posted to the forum megalist, on 26 June 2022,[5] and carried through the renames into smtn elf, remaining until that alliance's quiet dissolution in mid-2023.[3] Through the wars of the private-diplomacy era that followed, its land went largely unmolested.[4]

The fall of neutrality (2026)

On 25 May 2026 KongoBoys - a former Cucumber Company and smtn elf ally - began a sustained campaign against Profession Heaven, running as high as 1,700 territory exchanges a week and ending five years of neutrality.[4][3] The campaign was still ongoing as of September 2026.

Alliances

Its 2021 neutrality was a treaty under Goose and Artemis protection, not an alliance membership.[3]
