On 25 Jan 2021 Profession Heaven was granted neutral status, protected by both Goose and Artemis, and given Silent Expanse territory as a public profession-XP guild — an arrangement that held for over five years.
The grant was made in the middle of the Goose-Artemis war, with both warring alliances protecting Profession Heaven at once[1]. Its first territory exchange fell on the same day[2].
The arrangement was unique: a guild holding land on a contested map by the joint consent of both sides of a map-wide war.
A five-year peace
The neutrality outlived its guarantors. When Goose and Artemis collapsed together on 11 May 2021 (The Great Collapse), protection carried over to their successors. Profession Heaven eventually joined the blocs outright, appearing on Cucumber Company's final public roster of 26 Jun 2022[3] and remaining through the rename into smtn elf[4] until that alliance's end in mid-2023 — while its protected, neutral character as a public XP guild persisted.
The arrangement held until 25 May 2026, when KongoBoys — itself a former Cucumber Company ally — began the sustained campaign that ended the neutrality after more than five years[5].
