Kingdom Foxes [Fox] carries one of the longest continuous histories in Wynncraft guild warfare, spanning the early guild era to the 2020s.

History

Kingdom of Foxes and Valkyrie (2015-2016)

'Kingdom of Foxes' co-founded Valkyrie with Imperial on 2 June 2015 — an alliance created 'not for the purpose of war', governed by an Electorate of guild masters, that became the longest-lived in Wynncraft history.^[1] The alliance was relaunched twice, in August and October 2016.^[2][3] LoveLusting, styled "Queen of the Foxes", founded the guild^[4] and the alliance.^[1]

The disbandment, the re-registration and the revival (2016)

LoveLusting disbanded the Kingdom of Foxes on 2 July 2016 after a dispute. Drew1011 declined to relay the quarrel — "I was not part of it and have not heard the story from anyone without massive bias" — writing only that "it ended with Ari disbanding her guild".^[5] The cause of the disbandment was never recorded. He wrote that "after Ari disbanded Fox, a few rogue Hax members recreated it with the same name and tag"^[6]: the guild listed in the API today, created on 3 July 2016, one day after the disbandment — a hostile re-registration by outsiders, not a rename by the guild itself.^[7]

LoveLusting proposed a revival on 21 November 2016, and the new guild was created on 24 November 2016: "So, on November 24th, we created Foxton Legacy [Eon]. Foxton Legacy because Ari's name in the guild lore was Arianna Foxton, and Eon to represent that her legacy would last an Eon."^[6] The guild carried that name for roughly its first two and a half months, because the Fox name and tag were unavailable. Drew1011's forum profile records him as "King of the Foxes" from 1 December 2016^[8] and the community guild timeline dates the revival to 3 December 2016^[9] — both a week or so later than the creation date his narrative gives.

Four Discord messages of 21 November 2016 in which Ari (LoveLusting) tells Drew1011 to "take my crown" and "reestablish the kingdom". Drew1011's account presents this exchange as the start of the Kingdom of Foxes revival; the screenshot comes from that account.^[10]

The guildless members of the disbanded guild were absorbed by a guild founded the same day: House of Sentinels [Snt], created on 2 July 2016 by Pyrias.^[11] The House of Sentinels, Drew1011 wrote, "was created to house the now guildless Fox members. Misty and Pretzule, two ex Fox members, were its leader and Co-Leader", and "Snt had taken Fox's place in Valkyrie"; the Misty of his narrative is Pyrias.^[5] He names the same person as Queen of the revived guild from 24 November 2016 until she stepped down on 28 January 2017, LoveLusting being restored on 7 February 2017.^[12]

The Emperium of Wynn (2017)

Kingdom Foxes was a member of the Emperium of Wynn. By 17 October 2017 it was one of the alliance's four remaining member guilds, listed as "Kingdom Foxes [ Fox ] - Owner LoveLusting/Drew1011".^[13]

Drew1011's account describes two separate memberships. The first began in about May 2017 on a 14–4 guild vote, with Fox holding three of the alliance's six judge seats, and ended thirteen days later after an argument between alliance officers and Fox members in the alliance Discord.^[14] The second began in about September 2017, a decision he says he and LoveLusting took the day after he demoted four members of the guild's Parliament; he wrote that it "caused a significant amount of members to join and form their own guild, KingdomPhoenixes [Phx]".^[15] No other source records the first membership. KingdomPhoenixes split from Kingdom Foxes in September 2017^[16] and was established on 23 September 2017^[17]; the motive appears only in his account. He also attributed the guild's later turn to warring to the rivalry that followed, calling it "the single most important cause of Fox's transformation from a purely community guild to one of the top War guilds in the community".^[15]

Drew1011 held the title "Viceroy of the Foxes" from 7 February 2017 to 7 February 2019, the title he was still carrying when he wrote the Federation Tribute.^[18] Other officers of the era included Goden, who rose from recruit to guild leader and was named among the Federation's foremost war leaders,^[18] and Robturne.

The Coalition (2017-2018)

In October 2017 Kingdom Foxes co-founded the Coalition with KingdomPhoenixes, Gilded Sparrows and House of Sentinels; the Coalition took the Wynn Province on 23 Nov 2017, wiped War Syndicate on Christmas Day, and gained full map dominance.^[16] Drew1011 places Fox and KingdomPhoenixes as the two co-founders, with Gilded Sparrows third and House of Sentinels fourth, and describes the alliance as built "with the sole purpose of bringing down War Syndicate".^[19]

The Federation era (2018)

When five guilds split off in February 2018, starting the Coalition Civil War, Kingdom Foxes went with the Coalition remnant into the Federation and remained until its collapse on 10 Nov 2018.^[18] The territory allocation announced inside the Coalition on 16 Feb 2018 assigned Fox 36 territories, in North Canyon and Nesaak.^[20] In April 2018 Fox was the map's largest holder, at 82 territories.^[21] In the winter interregnum that followed, the community timeline records 'valk owning most of Gavel'.^[9]

The wars of 2019

Luna fought Kingdom Foxes across 300+ territories from 15 Feb 2019 — Imperial alone attacked Fox 660 times.^[22] Peace came stepwise: the Treaty of Rodoroc with DiamondDeities took effect 2 Mar 2019, and the Treaty of Ternaves (6 Jul 2019) split the dissolved Celestial Tigers' land; Fox joined Luna on 8 Jul 2019. Its departure on 18 Sep 2019 collapsed Luna. Three days earlier it had co-founded the Council of Canyon Kingdoms, which it left on 2 Nov 2019.^[23]

Artemis and after (2020-2022)

By March 2020 Kingdom Foxes was a member of Artemis,^[24] remaining through the Great Collapse of 11 May 2021. It joined Cucumber Company in spring 2022, one of the alliance's fourteen guilds that June;^[25] it appears to have left in early July 2022, after which it fought its former bloc.^[22] Fox was still a Valkyrie member as late as 19 September 2022.^[23]
