Kangronomicon [Fuq] was one of the two dominant guilds of mid-2015, created in December 2014 and led by Spham and then Dar_Krusos. It co-founded Legio Praetoria, ran a system of subguilds, was a founding member of Ordo Malleus, and was still warring in 2018 as a Coalition and Alliance Alliance member.

Kangronomicon [Fuq] was a Wynncraft guild of the early guild era and, with Nether's Ascent, one of the two guilds that controlled the territory map in mid-2015. It was created on 23 December 2014, one day after guilds were released; its creator was never recorded[1].

History

2015: Spham and the subguild system

In early March 2015 Kangronomicon was one of four guilds that founded the alliance Legio Praetoria, with KnightOfValor, Imperial and Nether's Ascent; Imperial and KnightOfValor left on 5 June 2015 and the alliance collapsed about a month later[2]. Through mid-2015 the guild was led by Spham — "Being leader of Fuq, we're pretty sure you can get @SSEEBBYZ to do that", one contemporary wrote to her[3]. Drew1011 later wrote that "Kangronomicon [Fuq] and Nether's Ascent [TNA] were essentially the Hax of mid 2015"[4]. A contemporary made the same comparison in the other direction in June 2016, describing HackForums and Libertas as a "rule of two" that "many distinguished scholars compare … to the ancient guilds of 'The Nether's Ascent' and 'Kangronomicon'"[5].

The guild ran a system of subguilds. Holders of LE became one on 14 August 2015 and was promoted to full ally about five weeks later, receiving nine territories around Nemract[6]. During August 2015 a glitch prevented Kangronomicon from starting wars at all, and its subguilds were tasked with recapturing anything taken from it[7].

Kangronomicon passed Nether's Ascent in experience to take first place shortly before September 2015. Spham then quit guilds and passed the guild to her senior chief Dar_Krusos, known as Kru, within hours of the change of ownership at Holders of LE on 22 September 2015[8]. That autumn the guild came under sustained attack from the Concordia alliance; by late September or early October 2015 it held no territory in the province at all[9].

Ordo Malleus

Kangronomicon was one of the seven founding guilds of Ordo Malleus on 6 November 2015, listed under Kru[10], and appears in the alliance's only recorded roster, of February 2016, as "Fuq, Kangronomicon"[11]. Its chief Paladin A'renos organised the alliance's recruitment and created its leader chat, and Drew1011 described Kru as its senior authority[12]. After the alliance collapsed on 9 March 2016 Drew1011 wrote that Kru left Wynncraft and "to this day he has never returned, except to pass down leadership of Kangronomicon"[13].

2018

The guild was still active three years after its founding: a new recruitment thread was opened by Chawwh on 27 February 2018 with the guild at level 56[14]. It was allotted 25 territories in the Coalition's February 2018 division of the map[15], and left the alliance with four other guilds to form Alliance Alliance — on 16 February 2018 by Drew1011's account[16], on the 17th by the community timeline[17]. Kangronomicon stopped warring around 12 March 2018, one of the markers of the Coalition Civil War's end[18].
