On 1 February 2021 urbymine posted to the megalist: "Just a smol update that i noticed: BNU(IBT), SHY and TNL are all goose now."^[1] IceBlue Team, ShadowFall and TheNoLifes had defected from Artemis to Goose — ShadowFall having held an Artemis leadership seat under GoulartJJ eleven months earlier^[2]. In the same post he suggested the maintainer adopt "a google form system for guilds to request changes/additions to the list"^[1].

Three weeks later, posting under the forum title "Former Chief of Avicia"^[3], he argued in the thread "The Issue With 1.20 Guild Wars" that the alliance-dominated war system was working as designed: "we just have to accept that wars are a team-based effort, not just within your own guild but in that it requires you to reach out to other guilds to make progress on the map... it adds a whole new layer to guildwars in the form of diplomacy... it actively discourages selfish and arrogant guilds"^[4]. He also correctly diagnosed the mechanic behind the era's complaints about escalating attack costs — "This is probably caused by the pity limit" — while agreeing that resource-poor regions were hard to campaign in^[4].
