Wynncraft guild founded in 2018 by birdiefly209. The last guild standing when Luna wiped the map in 2019's alliance wars, a member of Goose, Niflheim, Valhalla, Vanir, Cucumber Company, Adonis and smtn elf, half of the Avocado Aquarium pact, and a belligerent in the largest war ever recorded, against Aequitas in 2025.
Avicia [AVO] is a Wynncraft guild created on 1 Aug 2018.[1] Its tag is an acronym of the Latin phrase "amor vincit omnia", "love conquers all".[2]
History
Founding and leadership
Avicia was founded by birdiefly209, who led it as "Grand Avis" over a High Council of a High Archon and about a dozen Archons.[2] On 1 Dec 2018 birdiefly209 posted on the guild's thread: "I have stepped down from my role as Guild Master and passed the position on to Norgari."[3] The succession of later leaders was never published: urbymine was a former Chief by February 2021,[4] and FlamingoBike held the Chief title in April 2020.[5] Which of them held the office during the guild's August 2019 revolt against Luna is not recorded.
The Luna era (2019)
During the alliance wars of 2019, when Luna wiped every other guild from the map, Avicia was the last power standing; by joining Luna on 17 Jul 2019 it completed Luna's full map control.[6] Six weeks later, on 29 Aug 2019, Avicia and Emorians left after a leadership dispute and declared war on Imperial, spiralling into a large war over Gavel out of which Terra emerged.[7]
Goose, Valhalla and Vanir (2020-2021)
Avicia belonged to the anti-Artemis coalition of 18 Dec 2020[8] that became Goose — 'BNU(IBT), SHY and TNL are all goose now', Avicia's own urbymine wrote on 1 Feb 2021[9] — and stayed until the Great Collapse of 11 May 2021, when it co-founded Valhalla.[7] It also belonged to the community alliance Niflheim by July 2021.[10] On 28 Nov 2021 it followed Valhalla into Vanir — and on 18 Dec 2021 it was one of the four guilds whose departure collapsed it, the same day Niflheim dissolved.[7]
Super-alliances and the Avocado split (2022-2024)
Avicia joined Cucumber Company for Season 5 of 2022 and carried through into smtn elf,[11] while also joining the community alliance Adonis by 12 Jun 2022.[12] In June 2023 it quit smtn elf with The Aquarium over claim-shrinking pressure;[13] the pair fought on as the Avocado Aquarium pact into early 2024.[14] From 30 Oct 2023 Avicia waged war on the young Sequoia, with a second round in January 2024.[15]
The Aequitas war (2025)
From 3 Nov to 21 Dec 2025 Avicia fought Aequitas in the largest war in the entire territory record — 15,710 territory exchanges, with a weekly peak of 4,736.[15] It was over by Christmas.
