Niflheim was a community alliance of 2020-2021 whose four members — Avicia, IceBlue Team, ShadowFall and TheNoLifes — simultaneously belonged to the era's war blocs. It officially dissolved on 18 December 2021, the same day Vanir collapsed.

History
Niflheim's formation was never documented; the earliest recorded event in its history is ShadowFall's join on 27 December 2020.[1] By 7 July 2021 the alliance comprised Avicia, Blue Nations United [IBT] (the guild known today as IceBlue Team), ShadowFall and TheNoLifes; when the three guilds other than ShadowFall joined is not known.[2]
All four members belonged to war alliances at the same time: all were in Goose by February 2021, and three of the four went on to found Valhalla in May.[3] Niflheim itself took no recorded part in any war.[4]

Alongside Hestia and the Empire of Nemract, Niflheim was one of the few community alliances of the era whose membership is known[3]; beneath the war-alliance churn of 2020–2021 ran a quieter, more stable social layer.
