Adonis was a community alliance founded around May 2022 by the leaders of Titans Valor and Empire of Sindria as Hestia declined — 'a space for those of us who are still active to hang together.' Joined by Avicia within weeks, it outlived the war alliances around it, still hosting community events in early 2024.
History
Adonis was founded in May 2022 as the successor to the declining Hestia[1]; Avicia had joined by 12 June 2022[2]. The alliance ran community events through the era of Cucumber Company, smtn elf and the Avocado Aquarium — its member guilds passing through those war blocs while Adonis held the social layer, exactly as Hestia had spanned the war blocs before it.
Adonis was still running community events in February 2024[3], and in March 2024 ran a joint Discord server with the guild The Farplane, whose membership in Adonis was never recorded[4]. Nothing later is on record; no dissolution was ever recorded.
Membership
The end date marks the alliance's last recorded activity, not a dissolution.
Legacy
Adonis carried the community-alliance tradition of Hestia and Niflheim into the mid-2020s. While the war alliances of 2022–2023 collapsed or faded within a season or two, Adonis was still hosting events nearly two years after its founding[4] — the last community alliance on record.
