Aequitas [Aeq] is a Wynncraft guild created on 24 Nov 2019.^[1]

Leadership and structure

The guild's forum recruitment thread was opened on 3 Jan 2021 by FrozenGalaxy and has been maintained by him since. Aequitas runs a courtroom-themed rank ladder - Justices, Judges, Attorneys, Advocates, Jury, Witnesses - at the top of which the thread lists 'Justice Frozenman [OWNER]' and 'Justice Lalatera [CHIEF]'; Lalatera also drew the guild's artwork, and recruitment ran through peter3536.^[2] Two weeks after opening the thread, on 17 Jan 2021, FrozenGalaxy added the guild to the forum megalist as a level 48 community and war guild.^[3]

The bar for entry rose as the guild did. In January 2021 the form asked players above level 70 whether they would help war, and within two days put the same question to players above 95^[4]. By December 2022 it carried a formal combat-level minimum of 80 and addressed warring to players above 100^[5]. The minimum moved three times after that: 75 from May 2023^[6], 90 from August 2024^[7], and 100 by March 2025^[8].

The thread's header reads 'Est. November 24th 2019',^[2] matching the API's creation date:^[1] Aequitas was a year old before it began recruiting publicly.

History

Goose and Khaos (2021-2022)

Aequitas belonged to Goose among the coalition's later additions by 30 Mar 2021, when Drasalia's Goose fanart thread drew it as a blindfolded Greek figure - 'their name is the Latin concept of justice, equality' - and both Lalatera and FrozenGalaxy replied.^[9] Aequitas also had a brief Artemis stint in the war's final week (early May 2021) while still with Goose; the overlap was never explained.^[10] At the Great Collapse of 11 May 2021 Aequitas co-founded Khaos with the Goose bloc's core, fighting the war against Valhalla and Vanir that peaked in January 2022;^[10] Khaos was defunct by 26 Jun 2022 and its guilds were absorbed into Cucumber Company.^[11]

The super-alliance years (2022-2023)

Aequitas appears in Cucumber Company's 14-guild megalist roster of 26 Jun 2022^[11] and carried through into smtn elf until the alliance's quiet end in mid-2023.^[10] In September 2023 'TNL and AEQ were allied and warring together'^[12] - the only named guild relationship of its era.

The Long Raid and the great wars (2024-2026)

In late July 2024 Aequitas's claim in the Sky province endured a roughly week-long siege, recounted in the video 'Wynncraft Warring - The Long Raid' (premiered 4 Aug 2024).^[13][14] The attackers were never named. From 3 Nov to 21 Dec 2025 Aequitas fought Avicia in the largest war ever recorded (15,710 territory exchanges).^[15] After a one-week clash in August 2025 and spring 2026 skirmishes, full war with Sequoia erupted in the week of 24 Aug 2026 - 7,488 territory exchanges in its first week,^[15].^[16] That war is ongoing.

The in-game guild leaderboard for Season 23, which ended 13 April 2025: Aequitas second on 11,082,978 Season Rating behind Sequoia, ahead of Empire of TKW, TruthSworD, Avicia and Titans Valor. Published in Titan Times vol. 19, 2 August 2025.^[17]
