After smtn elf faded in mid-2023, public diplomacy stopped. No alliance roster was published anywhere after June 2022^[1], and from 2023 onward alliance-making happened in private guild Discords. Titans Valor's founder IceResistance later described the older practice: guilds "had their own channels, their own Discords, their own backrooms where actual conversations happened. Alliances were formed, enemies were negotiated with, all behind closed doors. And it worked." In October 2025 the official Discord's #guild-politics channel was renamed #guild-community^[2]. The wars of this era were the largest yet fought, but the alliances behind them were never named or published.

The Avocado Aquarium

The era's one named pact was Avocado Aquarium, the two-guild alliance of Avicia and The Aquarium after they quit smtn elf in June 2023. The pair waged a sniping and claim-taking campaign against their former allies into early 2024 and ran shared infrastructure, including the joint subguild Avoquarium [HQs] (created 9 August 2023)^[3]. By August 2023 they were each other's 'unwavering ally'^[4]. The era's only other named relationship came in September 2023: 'TNL and AEQ were allied and warring together.'^[5]

Wars known only from the map

None of the era's major wars was publicly declared:

• Avicia–Sequoia war (Oct–Nov 2023, second round Jan 2024) — Avicia against the young Sequoia (founded 14 Oct 2022)^[6], whose rise continued regardless: it won seven consecutive guild seasons from mid-2024^[7].
• Idiot Co–Aquarium war (Apr 2024 – Jan 2025) — the biggest war since 2021, peaking at 5,045 territory exchanges in a week^[8] and spanning the 'Rekindled World' map rework of 10 August 2024^[3].
• The Long Raid (late Jul – early Aug 2024) — a week-long siege of Aequitas's Sky-province claim, the era's only battle retold first-hand^[9][10]; the attackers were never named.
• Aequitas–Avicia war (3 Nov – 21 Dec 2025) — the largest war ever fought: 15,710 territory exchanges, weekly peak 4,736^[11].
• On 25 May 2026 KongoBoys began a sustained campaign against Profession Heaven, ending the neutrality it had held since January 2021^[12].
• Aequitas–Sequoia war (from Aug 2026, ongoing) — 7,488 territory exchanges in its first week, with Aequitas driven to zero territories^[13].

The in-game ally record (2026)

In June 2026 a machine-made record of guild relationships appeared, but not a record of the era's politics. Wynncraft's in-game ally system — present since 2021 — acquired its main practical use when allied guilds gained the ability to run guild raids together{{cite:https://wynncraft.wiki.gg/wiki/Version_2.2.1|Official Wynncraft Wiki, 'Version 2.2.1' (12 Jun 2026)}}, and Sequoia's open-source mod began capturing the game's 'formed/revoked an alliance with' broadcasts^[15], producing the first machine-made records of in-game ally registrations^[16]. They record which guilds were registered as allies and nothing about the politics of the era. From 30 July 2026 the mod auto-snapshots the in-game Diplomacy menu to a private archive^[17] (see The Diplomacy update).

What became visible is a game-mechanical relationship, used chiefly to permit joint guild raids; it does not indicate political alliance, and guilds registered as in-game allies may be rivals or recent belligerents. The alliances behind the era's wars therefore remain unnamed. Nothing has succeeded the megalist, whose last roster dates from June 2022^[18].
