History

The quiet years (2017-2022)

Little of Idiot Co's first five years was recorded. In February 2021 it was among the guilds actively warring in the desert during the Goose-Artemis war; which side it fought on is not known.[2]

smtn elf (2023)

Idiot Co joined smtn elf, the great super-alliance descended from Cucumber Company, by late March 2023, when it held alliance territory.[3] It remained until the alliance quietly dissolved in mid-2023 after The Aquarium and Avicia walked out.[4]

The Aquarium war (2024-2025)

On 29 Apr 2024 Idiot Co ignited the biggest war since 2021 against The Aquarium, raging through mid-July with a peak of 5,045 territory exchanges in a single week, and returning for a second round from November 2024 into January 2025.[5] The war spanned the Rekindled World map rework of 10 Aug 2024. As in all wars of the private-diplomacy era, any wider coalitions involved went unrecorded; only the two principal guilds are known.

Alliances
