Wynncraft guild founded in March 2020, active in territory warfare from its first days. A founding member of Valhalla and Vanir, a member of Cucumber Company and smtn elf, half of the Avocado Aquarium pact, and a principal in the 2024-25 Idiot Co-Aquarium war, the biggest war since 2021.

The Aquarium [TAq] is a Wynncraft guild created on 22 Mar 2020,[1] in the middle of the Goose-Artemis war; its first territory exchange came the following day.[2] Its earliest alignment was never written down; it appears to have first fought on the anti-Artemis side of that war.[2]

History

The Valhalla years (2021)

On 11 May 2021, the day of the Great Collapse, The Aquarium was one of the thirteen guilds that founded Valhalla, which took map control within days. When Valhalla reorganized as Vanir on 28 Nov 2021, The Aquarium was among the ten founding guilds; Vanir collapsed twenty days later.[3] Through the following winter it fought in the war against Khaos, which peaked in January 2022 and faded by mid-July — the run-up to the realignment.[2]

Cucumber Company to the Avocado split (2022-2024)

For guild Season 5 (spring 2022) The Aquarium joined Cucumber Company,[4] appearing in the 14-guild roster posted to the forum megalist on 26 Jun 2022 — the last public alliance roster ever —[5] and carried through the alliance's renames into smtn elf.[6] In June 2023 it and Avicia walked out, rejecting pressure to shrink their claims,[7] and as the two-guild Avocado Aquarium pact — Avicia called TAq "our unwavering ally" —[8] the pair waged a sniping and claim-taking campaign against their former allies into early 2024,[2] running shared infrastructure including the joint subguild Avoquarium [HQs] and the subguild ShadowFall.[3]

The Idiot Co war (2024-2025)

From 29 Apr 2024 The Aquarium fought Idiot Co in the biggest war since 2021 — a weekly peak of 5,045 territory exchanges — through mid-July 2024, with a second round from November 2024 into January 2025, spanning the Rekindled World map rework of 10 Aug 2024.[2]
