Khaos's war against the ex-Valhalla/Vanir guilds peaked in January 2022 at 500–800 territory exchanges per week and faded to nothing by mid-July. Khaos was defunct by 26 June 2022, its guilds absorbed into Cucumber Company.
Background
The Valhalla-Khaos war had run since 11 May 2021, the day both blocs formed out of The Great Collapse[1]. Vanir inherited Valhalla's side in November 2021 and then collapsed itself on 18 Dec[2], leaving Khaos facing an opposing coalition that was never formally named — remembered as "the Pineapple Pact"[3].
Course of the war
The war's final phase peaked in January 2022 at 500–800 territory exchanges per week. The principal guilds facing Khaos included The Aquarium, Avicia and Titans Valor; on Khaos's side fought Aequitas, Nerfuria and Eden[4]. Through the spring the fighting faded steadily, reaching nothing by mid-July[5].
Aftermath
The war ended not in victory but in merger. Khaos was defunct by 26 Jun 2022, when the forum megalist's final alliance roster — the last ever posted publicly — showed its guilds absorbed into Cucumber Company alongside their former enemies[6]. Ex-Khaos versus ex-Valhalla exchanges flipped from war-shaped to trade-shaped in May–June 2022[7]. No formal dissolution of Khaos was ever announced.
