Wynncraft guild created in October 2016 and led by CalAnders ever since — one of the longest unbroken guild ownerships on record. It joined Goose in March 2021, was a founding member of Valhalla, and was one of the two guilds excluded when Valhalla reorganized as Vanir.

The Mage Legacy's owner, CalAnders, joined at the moment of the guild's creation and was still its owner in September 2026 — an unbroken tenure of nearly ten years, and one of the longest on record[1].

History

The Emperium of Wynn (2017)

The Mage Legacy first appears as an alliance member in the Emperium of Wynn, listed as 'The Mage Legacy (Mag) - Owner: CalAnders' among the alliance's current guilds in May 2017[2]; by August 2017 the guild had been moved to the alliance's 'Honored Retired Guilds' list[3]. CalAnders himself posted in the thread on the day it opened[4]. Nothing more was recorded of the guild for almost four years.

Goose and Valhalla (2021)

The Mage Legacy joined Goose on 30 March 2021, during the Goose-Artemis war[5]. That same day Drasalia of ChinaNumberOne posted an illustrated roster of six Goose guilds headed 'MAG - The Mage Legacy' — 'just my doodles of what I think the Guilds would look like if they were people'[6].

When Goose and Artemis fell together on 11 May 2021 (the Great Collapse), The Mage Legacy was one of the thirteen founding guilds of Valhalla, the bloc that took the map from Goose's remnants[5].

Excluded from Vanir

Friction between The Mage Legacy, TheNoLifes and their Valhalla allies appears from August 2021, months before any open break[7]. Both guilds were left out when Valhalla's remaining members reorganized as Vanir on 28 November 2021, and open war followed that December (the betrayal of Valhalla)[5]. Where The Mage Legacy went afterwards was never recorded; unlike TheNoLifes, which passed into Khaos, it appears in no later alliance roster.

As of September 2026 the guild remains active at level 90 with 87 members and 13,368 recorded wars, holding no territories[1].
