One of the oldest guilds on Wynncraft, founded by Chownick in December 2014, days after guilds were introduced. It served in Ordo Malleus, the Emperium of Wynn, the Federation, Terra, the Council of Canyon Kingdoms, Goose, Niflheim and Valhalla — then turned on Valhalla in late 2021 and helped lead Khaos.
TheNoLifes [TNL], also styled Del Morto, was founded on 27 December 2014 by Chownick — five days after guilds were added to Wynncraft in the Guild Update — 'placing it as one of the oldest guilds in existence since the introduction of the guild system in Wynn'[1]. The official API dates its creation to 28 December 2014[2]; the one-day gap is unexplained.
History
Early alliances (2015-2018)
TheNoLifes was among the guilds of Ordo Malleus listed in 2017[3], and in the roster of the Emperium of Wynn as 'The No Lifes (TNL) - Owner: chownick'[4]. It joined the Federation on 5 May 2018[5], one of the 37 guilds of Drew1011's Federation Tribute roster[6]. When the Federation broke up, a forum post that day named TNL among the core guilds left exposed by the departures: 'leaving Fox, Hax, Imp, TNL, Ern, and a bunch of minor guilds weak'[7].
The 2019 churn
In the alliance wars of 2019 it joined Terra on 30 August, followed the Terra core into the Council of Canyon Kingdoms on 29 September, and stayed until that alliance collapsed on 23 November[5].
Goose, Niflheim and Valhalla (2021)
TNL switched sides during the Goose-Artemis war: on 1 February 2021 the forum megalist recorded that 'BNU(IBT), SHY and TNL are all goose now'[8]. Its membership was still current on 30 March, when Drasalia of ChinaNumberOne drew TNL as one of six Goose guilds and noted its reputation: 'From what my Guild Leader told me, they are the ones that know more about guild politics and all that cool stuff.'[9] It joined the community alliance Niflheim by 7 July 2021[10] and was a founding member of Valhalla on 11 May 2021[5].
The break with Valhalla
When Valhalla's guilds reorganized as Vanir on 28 November 2021, TheNoLifes and The Mage Legacy were excluded, and open war followed in December (the betrayal of Valhalla)[5]. TNL fought in Khaos from about 1 December 2021 until Khaos was absorbed into Cucumber Company in June 2022, and helped lead the alliance[11].
Later years
A recruitment thread of February 2023 presents a revived guild — 'Through time we have encountered challenges and revivals' — under a management team of 'Dons' and 'Consiglieres' with mafia-styled ranks, and names no owner[1]. As of September 2026 the guild stood at level 94 with 33,635 recorded wars but only seven members and no territories, its listed owner last online in November 2024[2]. When Chownick left the leadership is not recorded.
