NeonRider and Naraka00 founded the guild on 19 January 2016^[1][2], and it spent 2016 and 2017 as the third partner of the unnamed bloc that held most of the territory map with HackForums and Libertas.

History

The pirate guild and the Hax bloc

The 2016 thread is pirate-themed from its first line — "Yo-ho-ho. We are Blacklisted, a guild of friends who aim to claim ultimate victory!" — and locates the guild geographically: "The Capital is Selchar and our territory is composed by the great ocean islands, where plenty of booty is to be found!"^[2] It recruited at level 80 and above and ran a weekly war night, "Treasure Thursday", with "a special prize (5 unidentified legendaries) for the person who gets more territories".^[2]

Under a heading "ALLIANCES AND ALLIES" the same post declared: "We are allied with Libertas (Lir) and Hackforums (Hax)."^[2] No other member guild ever wrote the arrangement down. Outsiders described the same bloc: "They work with Lir and Bla in order to hold territories", a poster objected in August 2016^[3], and a Hax veteran wrote four years later, "didnt yall work with BLA and Lir for a lot of it".^[4] The bloc had no name at the time; the label "Hax & Co" was attached to it later, in 2019.^[5] On 23 September 2016 Blacklisted held 22 of the map's roughly 332 territories at guild level 51 with 56 members — fourth behind Hax's 146, Libertas' 60 and UltimateXeons' 53.^[6]

The terms of its membership were argued in public in October 2016. Love_You_Buddy, who identified himself as a Beasts co-leader and a former Libertas co-leader, wrote that "Blacklisted is a funny joke. Hax only uses you for Ocean territories... BLA may have power now, but they won't for long", the ocean being worth "no xp".^[7] Tomix answered for the bloc: "We are not allied with Blacklisted to use them... they said that they want only ocean and they are ok with having only ocean … we 'gave' it to them to control it. And the thing with ocean giving 'no xp' isn't true."^[8]

In March 2017 a defender of Hax still counted the guild among the map's holders, asking critics "are Lir, BLA, UXs somehow exempt?"^[9] NeonRider replied in the same thread with a deflation: "It's cute that you guys think that my guild is super op but in reality it's only me doing wars and we're down to 1.7mil emeralds."^[10]

After the bloc

A second recruitment thread was opened on 21 February 2018, the week HackForums lost the last of its territories.^[11] It names a third leader — "the leaders are @NeonRider, @Naraka00, and I", written by milo890 — and drops the alliance section entirely, describing a guild fighting on its own account: "Currently, we are an actively warring guild. Our wars mostly take place in Ragni and Dernal Jungle areas."^[12]

Blacklisted was a member of Luna from 14 February to 19 September 2019.^[13] It was among the first guilds to change sides in that year's wars: after a failed raid, "two significant allies, Blacklisted and BuildCraftia, defected to Valkyrie's side", joining the counter-offensive before their own territories were attacked in turn.^[14] Where it stood in 2020 was unclear even to contemporaries: asked to lay out the alliance map that April, one poster could only offer "then there's Sentinels who has Lxt and BLA I guess?"^[15] It joined Cucumber Company from 1 April to 25 September 2022^[16][13], then smtn elf until 30 June 2023.^[13] As of September 2026 the guild stands at level 78 with 30 members, no territories and 11,354 lifetime wars under the owner Catastrophic; when the war counter began counting was never documented.^[17]
