Vanir was the short-lived successor to Valhalla, formed on 28 November 2021 by ten of its guilds including The Aquarium. It inherited the war with Khaos and collapsed just twenty days later, on 18 December 2021, when Emorians, Nefarious Ravens, IceBlue Team and Avicia left.
History
On 28 November 2021 ten Valhalla guilds — including The Aquarium — reorganized as Vanir. Guardian of Wynn and Nefarious Ravens were invited on 1 December.[1] The reorganization doubled as a purge: The Mage Legacy and TheNoLifes, whose friction with the bloc had been building since August, were excluded, and their war on their former allies erupted that December — 5,359 territory exchanges in the month.[2] Vanir inherited Valhalla's side of the ongoing Valhalla-Khaos war.[3]
The alliance did not survive the month. On 18 December 2021 Emorians, Nefarious Ravens, IceBlue Team and Avicia left, and Vanir collapsed. Niflheim, the community alliance overlapping much of its world, officially dissolved the same day.[1] The causes of the collapse were never publicly recorded.

Legacy
Vanir was the last alliance of the Valhalla line, and its twenty-day life marks the moment the era's mega-blocs stopped holding together. The winter that followed — Khaos's last war against the ex-Vanir guilds — ended in the 2022 realignment that produced Cucumber Company, where most Vanir guilds reappeared alongside their former Khaos enemies.[3]
