Wynncraft guild founded in December 2017 by AzanderK and Hazeful: a Coalition and Alliance Alliance guild, Federation and Valkyrie member, Luna founder whose August 2019 revolt with Avicia broke the alliance open, later a Goose, Hestia, Valhalla and Vanir guild — and one of the four whose exit collapsed Vanir.
Emorians [ERN] was created on 17 Dec 2017[1] and was in the thick of alliance politics within weeks. Its recruitment thread records: "The Emorians started their journey on December 17th, 2017, under command of AzanderK and Hazeful, with Kanafarmari as second in command."[2]
History
Coalition to Federation (2017-2018)
By the turn of 2018 Emorians was in the Coalition. On 17 Feb 2018 it left with four other guilds to co-found Alliance Alliance, fighting the Coalition Civil War; when the war ended it was absorbed into the Federation, where it stayed until the collapse of 10 Nov 2018.[3] It also joined the Valkyrie community alliance on 23 May 2018.[3] Drew1011's Federation tribute thanked OliviaLime — whose forum title read "Retired Lady of Emoria" — "for slapping the sense in to people when nobody else wanted to".[4]
Luna and the revolt (2019)
Emorians was a founder of Luna on 14 Feb 2019.[5] In March 2019 it was the map's second-largest holder at 61 territories.[6] On 29 Aug 2019, after a leadership dispute, Emorians and Avicia left Luna and declared war on Imperial — the revolt that spiralled into a large war over Gavel, out of which Terra formed and Luna ultimately fell.[3]
Arkada of Titans Valor, writing from the opposing side on 14 September 2019 while the war was still running, stated that the Emorians left "supposedly frustrated with the actions of other prominent guilds", that "in response, Luna seized all of its lands", and that this was "a large mistake", because "the Emorians became more sympathetic to our efforts against Luna".[7] The seizure is recorded nowhere else.
GrandpaLee later led the guild as Lord of the Emorians, over a council styled "The Parly" — DerpyEmerald24, KittySenpai_, BurntPancakes, Splintered and IzzSt; when that leadership took over is not recorded.[2] DerpyEmerald24 later became Chief of Emorians and, in April 2020, compiled the community guild timeline.[8]
The blocs of the 2020s
Emorians appears in the 18 Dec 2020 anti-Artemis coalition list that became Goose,[9] staying until the Great Collapse of 11 May 2021, then joined Valhalla at its founding and followed it into Vanir. On 18 Dec 2021 it was one of the four guilds whose departure collapsed Vanir after twenty days.[3] It had also joined the community alliance Hestia by 6 Jun 2021,[10] and was still a member when Hestia was last recorded in September 2022.
