On ~16 Feb 2018, Alliance Alliance split from the Coalition over map disputes — and the Coalition remnant merged with War Syndicate's remains into a new alliance: the Federation, founded and led by Drew1011. It would hold the entire map for nearly nine months with a single ~3-day interruption in March.

On 17 Feb 2018 HackForums, Paladins United, House of Sentinels, Emorians and Kangronomicon left The 1st Coalition, formed Alliance Alliance with Fantasy and Necronomicon, and declared war on their former alliance. Alliance Alliance held most of the map in the days after the split, but The Federation took it on 21 Feb 2018 (356 of 383 territories) and — apart from a three-day reversal on 2-4 Mar — held it thereafter. The war ended on 19-20 Mar 2018, when Alliance Alliance fell from 72 territories to one.

On 19 Feb 2018, three days after forming, the Federation attacked HackForums' 111 territories and wiped them to zero in under 12 hours — the end of Hax as a territorial power, a year after its 2017 peak of ~350 territories.

Fantasy left the dominant Federation in late May 2018 and fought it across the map all summer — over 220 territories were exchanged with the bloc before Fantasy rejoined on 29 Oct 2018. Departure date is map-inferred: off-FFA fighting jumps to sustained war levels in the week of 28 May.

At around 3 AM EST on 10 Nov 2018, one guild left the Federation — and the alliance that had held the entire map for 8 months and 25 days cascaded apart within a day. The Hive had left a month earlier, then Odysseia; Imperial's exit 'snowballed into a major attack together with the enemy alliance'; Arisen followed, and after 14 hours of constant warring the Aesir guilds quit, ending it. 'What killed Federation was... internal affairs' — founder Drew1011's tribute, posted three days later.

Formed on 14 Feb 2019 to counter SOL, by Imperial, Emorians, Blacklisted, BuildCraftia and others. Contrary to some retellings, Kingdom Foxes was not a founding member — Luna was at war with Fox from its second day.

Luna fought Kingdom Foxes across 300+ territories from 15 Feb 2019 (Imperial alone attacked Fox 660 times). The war ended when Fox joined Luna on 8 Jul 2019 — the day after the Treaty of Ternaves.

Peace treaty between Kingdom Foxes and DiamondDeities, signed earlier and taking effect on 2 Mar 2019.

After fending off an attack on Kingdom Foxes, Luna wiped every guild but Avicia; Avicia joined on 17 Jul 2019 and Luna held the entire map.

On 29 Aug 2019, after a leadership dispute, Emorians and Avicia left Luna and declared war on Imperial — spiralling into a large war over Gavel. ThisIsMurica was kicked from Luna the next day for sending fighters, and Terra formed in the chaos.

The war for the map, 7-19 Sep 2019. The Simple Ones defected from Luna to Terra on 8 Sep and Terra took map control the same day; Kingdom Foxes left on the 18th and Luna collapsed. Over 2,000 exchanges across 322 territories in ten days.

The CCK/CoCK formed on 15 Sep 2019 out of the victorious Terra bloc: Kingdom Foxes, DiamondDeities, Titans Valor, The Simple Ones, Fantasy, Phantom Hearts and Empire of Sindria.

Terra, the alliance that broke Luna, fell on 2 Nov 2019 — seven weeks after its victory. On 10 Nov its fragments launched one last raid on the newborn Artemis.

The war for the map that ended the Artemis era. An 'unnamed group of anti-Artemis guilds' erupted against the map-holder alliance in December 2020 (913 territory exchanges that month, after months of skirmishing); by 19 Jan 2021 the coalition carried the name Goose. The war ran until both alliances collapsed on 11 May 2021, reforming as Valhalla and Khaos.

On 25 Jan 2021 Profession Heaven was granted neutral status, protected by both Goose and Artemis, and given Silent Expanse territory as a public profession-XP guild. Its first territory exchange is that same day.

Begun the day both blocs formed, 11 May 2021, and still running when the written record goes quiet: sustained fighting of roughly a thousand exchanges a week at its peaks continued into spring 2022, with Vanir inheriting Valhalla's side mid-war.

On 11 May 2021 Goose and Artemis both collapsed on the same day. Thirteen guilds — including The Aquarium — formed Valhalla, while nine formed Khaos; Valhalla took map control from Goose's remnants within days.

The Mage Legacy and TheNoLifes turned on their Valhalla allies — friction visible from August 2021, erupting into open war in December (5,359 territory exchanges that month). Both were excluded when Vanir formed on 28 Nov 2021; per testimony, TheNoLifes went on to help lead Khaos.

On 28 Nov 2021 ten Valhalla guilds — including The Aquarium — reorganized as Vanir. Guardian of Wynn and Nefarious Ravens were invited on 1 Dec.

On 18 Dec 2021 Emorians, Nefarious Ravens, IceBlue Team and Avicia left Vanir and the alliance collapsed, twenty days after forming. Niflheim officially dissolved the same day.

Khaos's war against the ex-Valhalla/Vanir guilds — an opposing coalition remembered in testimony as 'the Pineapple Pact' (no written record of that name survives) — peaked in January 2022 at 500-800 territory exchanges per week and faded to nothing by mid-July. The realignment that followed produced Cucumber Company.

The war alliance of the 2022 realignment formed for guild Season 5 — Titans Valor's newsletter (8 May 2022) calls it 'our first season being a part of the new Cucumber Company war alliance'. Its 14-guild roster, posted to the forum megalist on 26 Jun 2022, was the last public alliance roster ever; the megalist's alliance section was deleted twelve days later.

At the start of Season 8 (autumn 2022) 'Cucumber was archived. The new alliance name is called Smtn else' — Titans Valor's newsletter, which in the same breath records Gang of Fools having 'left and betrayed the alliance' and welcomes Paladins United, The Simple Ones and TerraLune. Renamed again to 'smtn elf' for Christmas 2022, and never renamed back.

The Aquarium and Avicia quit smtn elf in June 2023 — rejecting pressure (led by busted moments) to shrink their claims — and as the two-guild Avocado Aquarium pact waged a sniping and claim-taking campaign against their former allies into early 2024, running mega-claims across TAq, AVO and their subguilds ShadowFall, the Avos and Avoquarium.

The super-alliance's last recorded mention is Avicia's Season 12 post of 10 Jun 2023 ('To our other allies in smtn elf... thank you for the hqs'); days later The Aquarium and Avicia walked out, and by the Season 13 post (19 Aug 2023) smtn elf had vanished from the record — no death announcement, just silence. The remaining guilds never fought each other; it simply dissolved.

Avicia's war with the young Sequoia (founded 14 Oct 2022): skirmishes through spring 2023, the main eruption 30 Oct - 20 Nov 2023 (peaking at 1,454 territory exchanges per week), and a second round in January 2024. Sequoia's rise continued regardless — it won seven consecutive guild seasons from mid-2024.

The biggest war since 2021: Idiot Co against The Aquarium, igniting 29 Apr 2024 and raging through mid-July (peak 5,045 territory exchanges in a week), with a second round from November 2024 into January 2025. Spanned the Rekindled World map rework of 10 Aug 2024.

A roughly week-long siege of Aequitas's claim in the Sky province, late July to early August 2024 — the only battle of its era with a first-person retelling: the video 'Wynncraft Warring - The Long Raid' by Frank Wynncraft (premiered 4 Aug 2024). The attackers are never named in any surviving text.

The largest war in the entire territory record: Aequitas against Avicia, 3 Nov - 21 Dec 2025, with 15,710 territory exchanges and a weekly peak of 4,736. Over by Christmas.

Profession Heaven had held neutral status since 25 Jan 2021, guaranteed by Goose and Artemis and carried through their successors. On 25 May 2026 KongoBoys began a sustained campaign against it, running as high as 1,700 territory exchanges a week. No declaration or cause was published.

Full war between Aequitas and Sequoia, erupting in the week of 24 Aug 2026 after a one-week clash in August 2025 and skirmishes through spring 2026. The opening week ran to 7,488 territory exchanges, among the most violent ever recorded. Aequitas held 21 territories on 3 Sep 2026. No cause or declaration was published.
